AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2801 (PASSED MARCH 4, 1974) RELATING TO THIE lEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR THE lEA HIll RESERVOIR ANNEXATION. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOllOWS: Section 1. Section 1 of Auburn City Ordinance No. 2801, passed March 4, 1974, which reads as follows: "Section 1. That the following interest in the follm~ing described real property, consisting of a perpetual easement for a municipal water reservoir, said real property situated in an unincorporated area in the County of Kirig, State of Washin~Jton, and which is owned in fee by the City of Auburn, is, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.180 of the laws of the State of Washington, hereby, upon the effective date of this Ordinance, annexed into the City of Auburn, to-wit: Portion of Lots 3 and 12, together with portion of vacated street adjacent C.D. Hillman's Green River Addition Division No.1, recorded in Volume 17, page 67, records of King County, Washington, lying in the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 17, Township 21 North~ Range 5 East W.M. and is described as follows: Beginning at the NE corner of lot 12, C.D. Hillman's Green River Addition Division No. 1 and the westerly right-of-way line of 105th Place S.E.; thence south- easterly along the westerly R/W line of 10Sth Place SE 241.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing along said westerly R/W line 289.00 feet more or less to the Northerly R/W line of 106th Avenue S.E.; thence southwesterly along said northerly R/W line 90.00 feet more or less to the southeast corner of lot 12 C.D. Hillman's Green River Addition Division No.1; thence along the south boundary of said Lot 12 160.00 feet; thence northerly parallel to the westerly boundary of lot 12 C.D. Hillman's Green River Addition 185.00 feet; thence northeasterly 180.00 feet more or less to westerly R/W line of 105th Place S.E. and the true point of beginning. II is hereby amended to read as follows: IISection 1. That the following interest in the following described real property, consisting of a perpetual easement for a municipal water reservoir, said real property situated in an unincorporated area in the County Ordinance No. 3265 Page One 4-12-78 of King, State of Washington, and which is owned in fee by the City of Auburn, is, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.180 of the laws of the State of Washington, hereby, upon the effective date of this Ordinance, annexed into the City of Auburn, to-wit: Portion of Lots 3 and 12, together with portion of vacated street adjacent C.D. Hillman's Green River Addition Division No.1, re- corded in Volume 17, page 67, records of King County, Washington, lying in the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 17, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W.M. and is described as follows: ~ "-.t +- .,... ...... Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the northwest quarter of Section 17, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W.M. and the westerly right-of-way line of 105th Place S.L; thence southeasterly along the westerly right-of-way line of 105th Place S.E.. 241.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing along said westerly ri ght-of-way 1 i ne 289.00 feet more or 1 ess to the northE~rly ri ght-of- way line of County Access Road as recorded in Vol. 4719 of Deed, page 473, records of King County, Washington; thence southwesterly along said northerly right-of-way line 90.00 feet more or less to the centerline of vacated 106th Ave. S.E., said point also being the easterly extension of the south line of said Lot 12, C.D. Hillman's Green River Addition Division No.1; thence westerly along said extension and along the south boundary of said Lot 12, 160.00 feet; thence northerly parallel to the westerly boundary of Lot 12, C.D. Hillman'sGreen River Addition 185.00 feet; thence northeasterly 180.00 feet more or less to the westerly right-of-way line of 105th Place S.L and the true point of beginning. II Section 2. That upon passage, approval and publication, in due and regular form of this Ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a true and certified copy of this Ordinance to be recorded in the Office of the County Auditor, of King County, and pay the recording fee therefor. Section 3.
