AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
PARCELS OF LAND 14.62 ACRES IN SIZE LYING ON BOTH SIDES OF 37TH STREET
S.E. BETWEEN "M" STREET AND A POINT APPROXIMATELY 1,000 FEET WEST OF
"M" STREET S.E., WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM R-2, R-3 AND UNCLASSIFIED TO R-4.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
Auburn, Washington, by WALDRON, SALISBURY, SMITH AND THB: CLAPSHA14 VENTURES,
requesting the rezoning of the real property hereinafter described in Section 1
of this Ordinance, which petition was dated April 23, 1980; and
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on June 3, 1980, at
7:30 P.M., at the conclusion of which. the Planning Commission recommended the
approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on July 7, 1980,
at which time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning
Commission as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, 4ASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on parcels of
land approximately 14.62 acres in size lying on both sidesof 37th Street S.E.
between "M" Street and a point approximately 1,000 feet west of "M" Street S.E.
situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington, be and the same

is hereby rezoned from R-2 (Single Family), R-3 (Duplex) and Unclassified to R-4
(,Multi-Family), to-wit:
That por of the L 1/2 of the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the
SE 1/4 lyg Sly of Willis Rd. LESS the W 100 ft, all situated
in Sec 30, Twp 21 N, R 5 EWM. (Parcel 9022).

which amendment is designated as Exhibit ',A" hereof, be andrthe same is hereby
approved.
Section 3. The City Clerk.of the City of Auburn, Washington, is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
King County Auditor.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.

of the City of Auburn, Washington, providing for the rezoning of parcels
of land 14.62 acres in siz a lying on both sides of 37th Street S.E.
between M St. and a point approximately 1,000 feet west of M Street S.E.
within the City of Auburn, Washington, changing the zoning classification
thereof from R-2, R-3 and Unclassified to R-4.
