ORDINANCE NO. 3 5 3 3
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REPEALING AUBURN CODIFIED CITY
ORDINANCE 5.36.010 (CARNIVALS, CIRCUSES AND SHOWS - LICENSE-REQUIRED)
AND ENACTING A NEW AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 5.36.010.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,. WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Auburn Codified City Ordinance 5.36.010 (Carnivals, Circuses
and Shows - License-Required) is herewith repealed.
Section 2. There is herewith enacted a new Auburn Codified City Ordinance
5.36.010, which shall read as follows:
115.36.010 Carnivals, Circuses and Shows - License-Required.
Before any show, exhibition or other public amusement or lawful game
or vocation hereinafter named is given, held, exercised or carried on within the
,
city limits, the person,•partnership orscorporation intending to give, hold,
exercise or carry on such show, exhibition or other public amusement or lawful
game within the city shall pay the special tax hereinafter mentioned to, and
shall procure a license from, the Auburn Police Chief authorizing and permitting
such person, firm or corporation to give, hold, exercise and carry on such show,
exhibition or other public amusement or lawful game or vocation within such city
limits during the time or term specified in such license, which special tax is
levied and shall be collected as hereinafter provided."
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

I, Coralee A. McConnehey, the duly appointed, qualified City Clerk
of the City of Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in
the County of King, State of Washington, do hereby certify that the fore-
going is a full, true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 3533 of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn, entitled "AN ORDINANCE
of the City of Auburn, Washington, repealing Auburn Codified City Ordinance
5.36.010 (Carnivals, circuses and shows - license - required) and enacting
a new Auburn Codified City Ordinance 5.36.010.
I certify that said Ordinance No. 3533 was duly passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn, on the 21stday of
July A.D., 19 80 .
I further certify that said Ordinance No. 3533 was published as provided
by law in the Daily Globe News, a daily newspaper published in the City of
Auburn, and of general circulation therein, on the 27th day of July
A.D., 19 80 .
