AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION
OF THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AUTHORIZED BY AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE NO.

1979) WHICH PROVIDED FOR A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT ON PROPERTY ZONE M-2 LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND APPROXIMATELY -:
27 ACRES IN SIZE LYING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 15TH ST. N.W. BETWEEN, THE
VALLEY FREEWAY AND THE CHICAGO MILWAUKEE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, WITHIN
TH E CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY,OF AUBURN,.WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Conditional Use Permit as authorized by Auburn City
Ordinance No. 3425, passed August 20, 1979, shall be extended for one (1) year
and shall be null and void if construction has not been commenced within one (1)
year after the adoption of this Ordinance.
Section 2. That the Conditional Use Permit on property zoned M-2 (Heavy
Industrial) was granted pursuant to Auburn City Ordinance No. 3425, passed August
20, 1979, for the purpose of constructing a 499 room hotel, 1500 seat dinner
theatre and a 48 lane bowling alley on a parcel of land approximately 27 acres
in size lying on the north side of 15th Street N.W. between the Valley Freeway
and the Chicago Milwaukee Railroad right-of-way, situated in the City of Auburn,
County of King, State of Washington, and legally described as follows:
The SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Sec 12, Twp 21 N, R 4 EWM
in King County, WA. Except the E 100 ft thof for the
Puget Power and Light Company R/W; and Except that por
condemned for State Road No. 167 in King County Superior
Court Case No.'s 718093 and 737239, and Except that por
condemned by the City of Auburn for 15th St. N.W. No.
2467 of sd City. Further desc as 27.39 acres in the NE
quadrant of the intersection of 15th St. NW, and SR 167.
in accordance with the plot plans and exterior elevations for said development
previously submitted pursuant to Auburn City Ordinance 3425, passed August 20,
1979.
Section 3. That any further extensions of the Conditional Use Permit will
be considered as a new application which shall be processed through the Planning
Commission.

Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Auburn, Washington, is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King
County Auditor.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

going is a full, true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 3544 of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF THE CONDITIONAL USE
