AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REPEALING AUBURN
CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 6.28.020 (LICENSE-REQUIRED-FEES-EXPIRATION-
KENNELS ET AL) AND ENACTING A NEW AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE
6.28.020 COVERING THE SAME SUBJECT THEREIN, BUT CHANGING THE FEE
SCHEDULE THEREIN.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Auburn Codified City Ordinance 6.28.020 covering license
fees and expiration for commercial kennels, veterinary hospitals, pet shops
or pet kennels is herewith repealed.
Section 2. There is herewith enacted a new Auburn Codified City Ordinance
6.28.020, which shall read as follows:
"License-Required-Fees-Expiration.
"It is unlawful to keep or maintain a commercial kennel,
veterinary hospital, pet shop or pet kennel, as defined in
Section 6.28.010, within the city limits without having first
obtained a valid and subsisting license therefor, of $75.00
per year. A separate license shall be required for each such.
location and activity as defined herein and shall expire on
midnight, December 31st, of the year for which issued. Provided,
however, anyone holding such an.annual.license as defined herein
shall not have to obtain individual licenses for their cats or
dogs so long as said cats and dogs are being kept for commercial
purposes and are not allowed to roam at large."
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

of the City of Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in
the County of King, State of Washington, do hereby certify that the fore-
going is a full, true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 3555 E of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REPEALING AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 6.28.020
(LICENSE-REQUIRED-FEES-EXPIRATION-KENNELS ET AL) AND ENACTING A NEW AUBURN
CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 6.28.020 COVERING THE SAME SUBJECT THEREIN, BUT
CHANGINT THE FEE SCHEDULE THEREIN.
