HomeMy WebLinkAbout3563 ORDINANCE NO. 3 5 6 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REPEALING AUBURN CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2.63.110 RELATING TO VACATION - LONGEVITY LEAVE TIME, AND CREATING A NEW 2.63.110 THEREOF AND ADDING TWO SUB SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS 2.63.111 AND 2.63.112. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Auburn Codified City Ordinance 2.63.110, relating to Vacation - Longevity Leave Time, is herewith repealed in its entirety. Section 2. There is herewith created a new Auburn Codified City Ordinance No. 2.63.110, which shall read as follows: "2.63.110 Vacation - Longevity leave time - general employees. Effective January 1, 1981, full time employees of the ?ty shall be entitled to longevity leave time according to the following schedule, (except police and fire de- department employees): 0 - 4 years' continuous service, 12 days per year; 5 - 9 years' continuous service, 15 days per year; 10 - 14 years' continuous service, 18 day's per year; 15 years'-or more 6o6tinuous,service, 20 days per year." Section 3. There is herewith added a new Auburn Codified City Ordinance No. 2.63.111, which shall read as follows: i ' . "2.63.111 Vacation - Longevity leave time - police administrative employees. Effective January 1, 1981, administrative personnel in the city's police department shall be entitled to longevity leave time according to the following schedule: 0 - 5 years' continuous service, 14 days per year; 6 - 10 years' continuous service, 17 days per year; 11 - 15 years' continuous service, 20 days per year; Over 16 years' continuous service, 22 days per year." ---------------------- Ordinancd No. 3563 Page One 12-1-80 t Section 4. There is herewith added a'new Auburn Codified City Ordinance No. 2.63.112, which shall read as follows: "2.63.112 Vacation - Longevity leave time - fire administrative employees. Effective January 1, 1981, administrative personnel in the city's fire department shall be entitled to longevity leave time according to the following schedule: 0 - 5 years' continuous service, 14 days per year; 6 - 10 years' continuous service, 18 days per year; 11 - 15 years' continuous service, 20 days per year; 16 - 20 years' continuous service, 22 days per year; Over 21 years' continuous service, 24 days per year." Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
