AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
CODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE CHAPTER 2.51 ENTITLED COMPENSATION OF
OFFICERS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

section 1. section 2.51.020, entitled Councilmen's
compensation of Chapter 2.51 of the Auburn city code, be
amended as follows:
2.51.020 councilmen's compensation.
A.
On and after January 1, «~988»
1992, for those councilmembers
eligible therefor, their monthly
salary shall be increased from «£e~r
ft~~dred--~we~~y-£~ve» five hundred
twentv-five dollars per month to
«£e~r--~-~:H.ye» six
hundred dollars per month; and for
those councilmembers eligible on or
after January 1, ( (~998) ) 1994, an
increase in their monthly salary from
«£e~r--~-~r-~» six
hundred dollars per month to «£~ve
ft~~dred--~~~~~» six hundred
seventv-five dollars per month.

B.
The compensation provided for in this
section shall be paid on the first
day of each month succeeding the
month in which such services are
performed, by proper warrants drawn
upon the finance director of the
city.

section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement

such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry

out the directions of this legislation.
section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in

force five days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
