ORDINANCE NO. 4 6 7 0
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE NORTHERN PORTION OF
15TH STREET S.W., .BETWEEN "O" STREET S.W. AND INDUSTRY DRIVE
S.W., WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, Petition No. V-02-94 has been filed by the
owners of two-thirds or more of the property abutting the
portion of right of way requested to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the statute requires that the City Council
schedule a public hearing when a valid petition is filed with
the City; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on April 18, 1994
before the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The street right of way to be vacated is
located on that portion of "0" Street S.W. located North of
15th Street S.W., legally described as follows:
THOSE PORTIONS OF 15TH STREET SOUTHWEST AS
SHOWN AND SO DESIGNATED ON AUBURN 400 CORPORATE
PARK DIVISION I, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF
RECORDED IN VOLUME 128 OF PLATS, PAGES 97
THROUGH 99, RECORDS OF KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT C,
CITY OF AUBURN LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. LL-0016-
93, RECORDED UNDER KING COUNTY RECORDING NO.
9312012061, THENCE NORTH 84°02'12'' WEST 58.30
FEET ALONG THE NORTHERLY MARGIN OF SAID 15TH

be and the same is hereby vacated, and the property lying in
said portion of a certain street right of way described
hereinabove, shall be returned and belong to those persons
entitled to receive the property in accordance with the law.
Section Z. The City hereby retains a utility easement
for the construction, repair and maintenance of all utilities
over, across, upon and underneath the property described in
Section 1 of this Ordinance.
section 3. Upon the passage, approval and publication
of this Ordinance, the City Clerk for the City of Auburn shall
cause this Ordinance to be recorded in the office of the King
County Auditor.
Section 4. The Mayor is
