HomeMy WebLinkAbout4693 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 CITY CLERK'S OFFICE CITY OF AUI~URN 25 West Main Auburn, WA 98001 ORDINI~NCE NO. 4 6 9 3 1994 KING cOUNTY RECORDER AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4535 TO ALLOW 70 MECHANICAL AMUSEMENT DEVICES AS PART OF A FAMILY ORIENTED SPORTS THEME ENTERTAINMENT FACILITY KNOWN AS "AUBURN FAMILY SPORTS CENTER" LOCATED AT 340 EAST MAIN, WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 4535 adopted December 17, 1991, the city Council approved a conditional use permit that allowed for 40 mechanical amusement devices at the Auburn Family Sports Center located at 340 East Main Street; and WHEREAS, the owner of the Auburn Family Sports Center has now requested that the number of mechanical-amusement devices be increased from 40 to 70; and WHEREAS, Auburn Family Sports Center has been in operation for the past two years and no issues have been raised with regard to the operation of the business or parking concerns. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 4535 adopted December 17, 1991, is hereby amended to increase the number of mechanical amusement devices from 40 to 70 as part of the family oriented sports theme entertainment facility known as "AUBURN FAMILY SPORTS CENTER" and situated on property located at 340 East Main, within the City of Auburn, Washington. With the exception of the amendment as set forth in Section 1 above increasing the number of mechanical amusement devises from 40 to 70, all statements, sections, findings of fact and conclusions of law contained in Ordinance No. 4535 shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. Upon the passage, approval and publication of this Ordinance as provided by law, the City Clerk of the City of Auburn shall cause this Ordinance to be recorded in the office of the King County Auditor. Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
