ORDINANCE NO. ~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 4849 THAT APPROVED THE
EXPENDITURE AND APPROPRIATION OF CATEGORY ~Z" FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $75,000 FOR A TRAFFIC IMPACT STUDY CAUSED BY THE
REOPENING OF THE STAMPEDE PASS ROUTE BY THE BURLINGTON
NORTHERN-SANTA FE RAILWAY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 4849 accepted Category 'Z" Funds
in the amount of $75,000 for the study of traffic impacts
caused by the reopening of Stampede Pass route by the
Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway; and
WHEREAS, the City has been informed by the
Transportation Committee of the Washington State
Legislative
Legislature
that said funds will not be received by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
~ Ordinance No. 4849 passed by the Auburn City
Council on April 1, 1996 is herewith repealed in its entirety.
~ The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.
