AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4819 TO EXTEND TERMINATION
DATE RELATING TO THE PREPARATION OF A CITY TRANSPORTATION
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE WASHINGTON STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn must
adopt and approve all appropriations by Ordinance pursuant to
Chapter 35A.33 RCW; and
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
~ Auburn City Ordinance No. 4819 passed and
approved December 18, 1995, is hereby amended to extend the
termination date relating to the preparation a City
Transportation Comprehensive Plan Update and authorizes the
Mayor to execute Supplement No. 1 to the Special
Transportation Planning Study Agreement No. GC-10100 between
the City and the Washington State Department of Transportation
approving said Agreement. All other terms and conditions of
the original Agreement and supplements thereto shall remain in
full force and effect except as modified by this Supplemental
Ordinance NO. 4866

Agreement. A copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and is incorporated herein by reference.
~9_cJ~i~All_~ The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.
~ This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.

SUPPLEMENT #1
FIRST SUPPLEMENT TO AGREEMENT GC 10100, ENTERED INTO BETWEEN
THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
(HEREINAFTER CALLED THE "DEPARTMENT") AND THE CITY OF AUBURN
(HEREINAFTER CALLED "PLANNING ORGANIZATION"). WITNESSES THAT:
Effective termination date of the agreement is extended to
December 31,1997.
This is a no cost time extension only, with no change to the scope of work.
Effective Date: The effective date of this supplemental agreement is June 1, 1996.
A copy of this Agreement Supplement shall be attached to and made a part of the original
Agreement. Any references in such an agreement to the "agreement" shall mean
"agreement as amended". All other terms and conditions of the original document may be
simultaneously executed in several counterparts each of which shall be deemed original
having identical legal effect. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement and
supplements thereto shall remain in full force and effect except as modified by this
supplemental agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this supplement the date and
year last written below.
