HomeMy WebLinkAbout48841 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 ORDINANCE NO. 4 8 8 4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON PROVIDING A $3500 WORKING FUND ADVANCE TO THE AUBURN DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION FOR ADMINISTERING PROGRA~4S FOR THE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA. WHEREAS, the City of Auburn, business owners, established Improvement Area in 1988; and WHEREAS, the City business owners within at the request of downtown a Parking and Business of Auburn collects assessments from the Business Improvement Area and maintains a fund to be used for downtown programs; and WHEREAS, the City has a contract with the Auburn Downtown Association to administer the programs for the Business Improvement Area; and WHEREAS, the Auburn Downtown Association regularly incurs expenses in providing these programs and submits invoices twice a month to the City for reimbursement for such expenses, at a typical value of about $3500; and WHEREAS, the Auburn Downtown Association needs a working fund advance to enable the agency to pay their bills in a Ordinance No. 4884 August 5, 1996 Page ! 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 timely fashion and that the final reimbursement request will be reduced by the amount of the working fund advance.
