AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON PROVIDING A
$3500 WORKING FUND ADVANCE TO THE AUBURN DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION
FOR ADMINISTERING PROGRA~4S FOR THE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA.
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn,
business owners, established
Improvement Area in 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City

maintains a fund to be used for downtown programs; and
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with the Auburn Downtown
Association to administer the programs for the Business
Improvement Area; and
WHEREAS, the Auburn Downtown Association regularly incurs
expenses in providing these programs and submits invoices
twice a month to the City for reimbursement for such expenses,
at a typical value of about $3500; and
WHEREAS, the Auburn Downtown Association needs a working
fund advance to enable the agency to pay their bills in a

timely fashion and that the final reimbursement request will
be reduced by the amount of the working fund advance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
