HomeMy WebLinkAbout4904 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 ORDINANCE NO. 4 9 0 ,~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND 00/100 DOLLARS, ($13,500.00), AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH KING COU~TY FOR LATE NIGHT AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS. WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council of the City of Auburn must adopt and approve all appropriations by Ordinance pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ~ Pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW the City a total DOLLARS hereby approves the amount of THIRTEEN ($13,500.00), expenditure and appropriation of THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED and 00/100 which constitutes a grant pursuant to the Agreement between the City of Auburn and King County Community Services Division. ~9_C=t~]l__~ The Mayor and City Clerk of the City Auburn are hereby authorized to execute Contract Amendment 1 to Contract No. D21325D funding through June 30, of with King County, to provide grant 1997 to the City of Auburn for use by Ordinance No. 4904 September 4, 1996 Page 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 the City to provide late night and after school programs within the City of Auburn. A copy of said Contract Amendment is attached hereto and designated Exhibit "A" and is incorporated by reference in this Ordinance. The original Agreement authorized by Ordinance No. 4794 was passed by the Auburn City Council on October 2, 1995. ~L~ The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation. ~ This Ordinance shall take force five (5) days from and after publication, as provided by law. Add: The Agency shall be reimbursed pursuant to the terms and condition of this contract for the provision of such services in an amount not to exceed $13,500 for the contract period July 1, 1996 through June 30, 1997. $6750 is allocated through December 31, 1996 and the remaining $6750 for January 1,1997 through June 30, 1997 pending reallocation by the Metropolitan King County Council. Section II., Program Requirements. Add: 4. By June 30, 1997 the agency shall have accomplished 856 staffhours (428 by mid year, December 1996) maintaining the Auburn Youth 2000 Task Force and the Auburn Youth Council. 5. By June 30, 1997 the agency shall accomplish 30 late night programs. 6. By June 30, 1997 the agency shall accomplish 5 6-week sessions of the After School Program. Add:The monttfly payment shall be as follows: July 1996 through June 30 1997 $1125 a month The total amount of payment pursuant to this exhibit for this period not to exceed $13,500.
