ORDINANCE NO. ~
A_N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT DONATIONS AND APPROVING THE
EXPENDITURE AND APPROPRIATION OF SUCH DONATIONS TO BE USED BY
THE AUBURN PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR PROGRA24S AND
SERVICES IN 1996.
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn desires to accept donations
in the amount of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-One ($10,691)
Dollars as specified in Section 2 herein to be used by the
Auburn Parks and Recreation Department for department programs
and services in 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has determined that
acceptance of such donations is in the best interests of the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

on the wishes of the donor. Donations will be used for the
benefit of programs and services in the following program
areas: Specialized Recreation, Cultural Arts, Library, Senior
Center, Recreation, and Parks.
The following is a list of the organizations from whom
donations have been received in 1996 and the amounts donated:
