Dear Capt. Pitzl:
I am pleased to inform you that, based on your recent grant request to the Traffic Safety
Commission, your agency has been awarded funding for one (1) laser speed measuring unit up to
$3,000. We believe your request is important enough to fund immediately and you can order
equipment as of this date. I have included technical information on the newest unit from LTI
laser.
Due to changes at our agency mandated by the State Auditor, we can no longer purchase dkectly
from vendors and have equipment drop shipped to grant recipients. As a result of this policy, the
following procedures must be done by your agency.
Your agency must order the item granted and be billed for the equipment.
Upon receipt of a billing to your agency, you must submit the enclosed Invoice
Voucher, A19-1AForm and a duplicate copy of your billing invoice to WTSC for
reimbursement. Please note that we cannot accept a FAX. We must have an
original signature of the agency head or contractin~ officer on the A-19 form.
Upon receipt of the above, your agency/jurisdiction will be reimbursed.
Thank you for participating in our traffic safety improvement projects. Feel free to contact me at
(360) 586-3872 if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Les Pope
