AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ANNEXING TO
THE CITY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES CERTAIN L/END THERETO, KNOWN AS
THE FENSTER PROPERTY WHICH IS ADJACENT TO THE EAST CITY OF
AUBURN CITY LIMITS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 4994 PASSED
JULY 21, 1997.
WHEREAS,
PROPERTY, an

the City of Auburn has acquired 'the FENSTER
approximate 9-acre parcel of property located
on the east side of the City and contiguous to

WHEREAS, it was discovered after approval of Ordinance
4994 that the legal description was in error.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

21, 1997, is herewith repealed in its entirety.
~ That there shall be annexed to the City of
Auburn, Washington, the property situated in the County of
King, State of Washington, which legal description is
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by
reference as if set out in full.

the property shall become part of the City of Auburn, subject
to all of the laws and ordinances of the City then otherwise'

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of the southwest quarter of Section 17, Township 21 North, Range
5 East, W.M.. King County. Washinaton. described as foIIows:
Beginning on a point on the Auburn City Limits as established by City of Auburn Ordinance
# 4605, said point lying on the south right of way line of 4th St. SE and its intersection with
the west bank of the Green River; thence southeasterly along the west bank of the Green
River to the east line of the west one-half of section 17, township 21 north, range 5 E.W.M.;
thence south along said east line to Auburn City Limits as established by City of Auburn
Ordinance # 3509; thence west along said city limits, also the north line of the Northern
Pacific's Railroad right of way, to the east line of the Valley Meadows Addition subdivision,
according to the plat thereof recorded in volume 161 of plats, page 59, in King County,
Washington; thence north along said east line, also the city limits as established by
ordinance # 3509, to the City Limits as established by ordinance # 4605; thence east along
said city limits to the point of beginning.
