HomeMy WebLinkAbout50571 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19, 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 0 r?! y Y Vie W {i eORDINANCE NO. 5 0 5 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND AND 00/100 DOLLARS, ($13,000.00), AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 3 WITH KING COUNTY FOR LATE NIGHT AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS. WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council of the City of Auburn must adopt and approve all appropriations by Ordinance pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW the City hereby approves the expenditure and appropriation of a total amount of THIRTEEN THOUSAND and 00/100 DOLLARS ($13,000.00), which constitutes a grant pursuant to the Agreement between the City of Auburn and King County Community Services Division. Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn are hereby authorized to execute Contract Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. D21325E with King County, to provide grant funding through June 30, 1998 to the City of Auburn for use by ------------------------ Ordinance No. 5057 December 2, 1997 Page 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 the City to provide late night and after school programs within the City of Auburn. A copy of said Contract Amendment is attached hereto and designated Exhibit "A" and is incorporated by reference in this Ordinance. The original Agreement authorized by Ordinance No. 4794 was passed by the Auburn City Council on October 2, 1995. Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
