ORDINANCE NO. 4 9 9 {
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ANNEXING TO
THE CITY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES CERTAIN LAND THERETO, KNOWN AS
THE FENSTER PROPERTY WHICH IS ADJACENT TO THE EAST CITY OF
AUBURN CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has acquired the FENSTER
PROPERTY, an approximate 9-acre parcel of property located
approximately on the east side of the City and contiguous to
the City of Auburn; and

WHEREAS, notice of intention to annex was filed with the
Kin9 County Boundary Review Board; and
Wq4EREAS, the King County Boundary Review Board received
no request to invoke its jurisdiction, therefore the
annexation is deemed approved on July 7, 1997 as a matter of
law.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

reference as if set out in full.

Clerk of the City of Auburn shall send to the Office of the
Clerk of the County Council one (1) certified copy of this
Ordinance together with a copy of a letter from the Executive
Secretary of the King County Boundary Review Board, which
letter contains a copy of the decision of the Boundary Review
Board relatin9 to this annexation.
~ The City Clerk of the City of Auburn shall
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Kin9 County
Department of Assessments, Accounting Division.
Section 5. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.

That portion of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of
Section 17, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in King County,
Washington which lies northerly of the northerly margin of the
Northern Pacific Railway Company,s right-of-way;
EXCEPT that portion described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of Violet Street and River Drive in
East Auburn Garden Tracts, according to the plat thereof recorded in
Volume 18 of Plats, page 98, in King County, Washington;
