AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4799, WHICH APPROVED
FEDERAL ISTEA PRESERVATION GRANT FUNDS WITH LOCAL MATCHING
FUNDS AS PROVIDED IN THE LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY AND THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
THE 1994-1995 COMMERCIAL SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, PR
513C, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCEPTING AN ADDITIONAL $7,500 OF
GPJLNT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn must
adopt and approve all appropriations by Ordinance pursuant to
Chapter 35A.33 RCW;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW, the City
Council hereby approves the expenditure and appropriation of
Federal ISTEA Preservation Grant Funds in the amount of $7,500
according to a Local Agency Agreement Supplement No. 1 between
the City and the Washington State Department of Transportation
approving said Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A" and is incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.
