AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ANNEXING TO
THE CITY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES CERTAIN LAND THERETO, KNOWN AS
THE LEA HILL PUMP STATION PROPERTY WHICH IS LOCATED IN
UNINCORPORATED KING COUNTY TO THE EAST OF THE CITY LIMITS OF
AUBURN ON LEA HILL ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has acquired l:he Lea Hill
Pump Station property, an approximate 0.8 acre parcel of
property located approximately on the east side of the City
and contiguous to the City of Auburn; and
WHEREAS, the property purchased is to be used for
municipal utility purposes and therefore is for a municipal
purpose; and
WHEREAS,
Council may
in accordance with RCW 35A.14.300 the City
by majority vote annex such property for a
municipal purpose when owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on January 2, 1998 by majority
vote, instructed the Planning Department to forward the Notice
of Intention to the King County Boundary Review Board; and
WHEREAS, notice of intention to annex was filed with the
King County Boundary Review Board; and
WHEREAS, the King County Boundary Review Board received
no request to invoke its jurisdiction, therefore the
annexation is deemed approved on April 3, 1998 as a matter of
law.

Section 5. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, .approval and
publication as provided by law.

That portion of Lot 20, Block 7, C.D. Hillman's Auburndale Addition to the City of
Seattle, Division No. 1, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 13 of
Plats, page 62, in King County, Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Lot 20 (AKA the North line of SE
320TH ST.), which is north 0°07'00" east 30 feet and north 89°59'00'' west
1007.61 feet from the South quarter corner of Section 8, Township 21 North,
Range 5 East, W.M., in said county; thence north at right angles to saiid south
line 250 feet, more or less to the north line of said Lot 20; thence west along said
north line to the easterly margin of Lea Hill Road; thence southwesterly along
