AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN CITY CODE 13.06.360 PERTAINING TO
AUBURN WATER RATES.
THE CITY COUNCIL
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
Section 1. The purpose of this amendment is to
incorporate changes in the water rate for each customer class.
Section 2. Auburn City Code Chapter 13.06, entitled
"WATER UTILITY - GENERAL REGULATIONS", specifically Section
13.06.360 entitled "Rates - Generally" is hereby amended as
follows:

will be as follows:

Provided, however, that 37 percent shall be added to all
rates for water service outside the city limits. City of
Auburn utility taxes are included in the monthly rate for all
customers except wholesale accounts. Wholesale rates exclude
the 37 percent out of city service charge and state excise
taxes.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, clause or phrase
of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality of

the remaining portions of this Ordinance,

Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the direction of this legislation.
