AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF VELVET HOMES
ESTATES, A 22-LOT SINGLE-FAMILY SUBDIVISION LOCATED ON THE
EAST SIDE OF "I" STREET NE AND SOUTH OF 40TH STREET NE,
ACCORDING TO THE PLAT ON FILE WITH THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Auburn City
Council held on June 15, 1998, the Auburn City Council
approved the Final Plat of VELVET HOMES, Application No.
PLT0001-97, based on the following:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. The Final Plat as submitted is in compliance
with the Preliminary Plat approved by
Resolution No. 2878 and all applicable
conditions have been met. Velvet Homes
Estates Plat, is a 22-1ot single family
subdivision located at the southeast corner
of "I" Street NE and 40th Street NE, if 40th
Street were extended east.
2. The Final Plat is in compliance with the
Zoning and Land Division Ordinance and is
consistent with the City's engineering
standards.

CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
1. The Final Plat is in compliance and in
conformity with applicable Zoning and Land
Division Ordinances and other applicable land
use controls.
2. The Plat is consistent with the Comprehensive
Plan.
3. The Plat meets the requirements of Chapter
58.17 RCW.
Based on the foregoing Findings of Fact and
Conclusions,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Plat of VELVET HOMES ESTATES, a 22-1ot
single family subdivision located at the southeast corner of
"I" Street NE and 40th Street NE, if 40~h Street were
extended east, in the City of Auburn, Washington, which Plat
is on file with the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, and
which plat is legally described on the face of the Final
Plat.
Section 2. Pursuant to RCW 58.17.170, the final plat
conforms to all terms of the preliminary plat approval and

complies with all requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW and
applicable state and local laws.
Section 3. Upon the passage, approval and publication
of this Ordinance as provided by law, the City Clerk of the
City of Auburn shall cause this Ordinance to be recorded in
the office of the King County Auditor.
Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directires of this legislation.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
