AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
AUBURN CITY CODE 13.20.440 PERTAINING TO CITY OF AUBURN SEWER
RATES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The purpose of this amendment is to
incorporate a City of Auburn change in the customer rate.
Section 2. Section 13.20.440, entitled "Fees and
charges" of Chapter 13.20 of the Auburn City Code is hereby
amended as follows:
13.20.440 Fees and charges.

to average winter water consumption for the

allowance shall be upon application and with
appropriate justification that additional
summer usage does not enter the sewer system.
Nonsingle-family accounts without city
water service shall be charged at the
applicable rate above inside-the-city or
outside-the-city rate per one hundred cubic
feet after the minimum seven hundred fifty
cubic feet. The customer shall have installed
a city supplied water meter or other acceptable
means of recording use, by applying for a
permit under Section 13.04.110, which shall be
read by the water department to determine
sewage charges on private systems.

Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
out the directions of this legislation.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
