HomeMy WebLinkAbout5242 ORDINANCE NO. 5 2 4 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, TO AMEND AUBURN CITY CODE SECTION 3.04.510 ENTITLED "SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER PETTY CASH FUND" CONTAINED IN AUBURN CITY CODE CHAPTER 3.04 ENTITLED "FUNDS" TO INCREASE THE SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER PETTY CASH FUND FOR THE PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Auburn deems it necessary to increase the Senior Citizens Center's petty cash and change fund by Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for a total sum of Two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Purpose. Auburn City Code Section 3.04.510 entitled "Senior Citizen Center Petty Cash Fund" contained in Chapter 3.04 entitled "Funds" is amended to increase the petty cash and change fund balance by Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for a total sum of Two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00) as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Ordinance 5242 August' 16, 1999 Page 2 Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law. There is established a rovolving petty cash fund of $200.00 $275.00 for the use of the city of Auburn senior citizen center. The city finance director upon the request of the parks and recreation director shall reimburse that fund from time to time for expenditures outstanding to make a cash balance of a maximum of $200.00 $275.00 available at any one time in said fund.
