AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE, APPROPRIATION AND
EXPENDITURE OF 1998 PREHOSPITAL PARTICIPATION GRANT FUNDS IN
THE AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,200.00)
FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR USE AS
AN OFFSET AGAINST FULL TIME EMT EMPLOYEES WAGES AND
BENEFITS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn must adopt and
approve all appropriations by Ordinance pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn applied for 1998 Prehospital Participation
Grant Funds as an offset against full time EMT employees wages and benefits;
and;
WHEREAS, the State of Washington has approved and remitted EMS
Prehospital Participation Grant Funds in the amount of One Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars (1,200.00), under State Warrant 300508Z.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to Chapter 35A.33 RCW, the City Council hereby
approves the acceptance, appropriation, and expenditures of the 1998
Prehospital Participation Grant Fund in the amount of One Thousand Two

Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00) which was approved and issued by the
Washington State Department of Health.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this legislation.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
