AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE 5377 WHICH AUTHORIZED THE
RECORDING OF A NEW CHAPTER TO AUBURN CITY CODE, CHAPTER 18.78
ENTITLED "TERRACE VIEW (TV) ZONING DISTRICT", TO PROVIDE FOR
RECORDING IN PIERCE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Auburn City Council adopted Ordinance 5377, on May 1,
2000 authorizing a new Chapter To The Auburn City Code, Chapter 18.78 entitled
"Terrace View (TV) Zoning District", setting forth the zoning requirements and
standards applicable to the Terrace View District; and
WHEREAS, the Terrace View (TV) Zoning District is located in Pierce
County and is within the City's Potential Annexation Area (PAA); and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance 5377 indicated the recording to take place in
King County; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend Ordinance No. 5377 to direct the City
to record the new Chapter 18.78 entitled "Terrace View (TV) Zoning District" in
Pierce County.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. Purpose. Ordinance No. 5377, adopted May 1, 2000,
authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn to execute a new

Chapter to the Auburn City Code, Chapter 18.78 entitled "Terrace View (TV)
Zoning District" contained in Title 18 entitled "Zoning" and certain zoning code text
amendments reflecting the addition of the newly created Terrace View District
Annexation, is amended to include the corrected section.
Section 4. Upon the passage, approval and
publication of this Ordinance as provided by law, the
City Clerk of the City of Auburn shall cause this
Ordinance to be recorded in the office of the KiP, g
Pierce County Auditor, Division of Records and
Elections.
Section2. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the
directions of this legislation.
Section 3. Effective date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
