WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Auburn City Council held November 6, 2000, the Council adopted Ordinance 5465 approving the rezoning of property located at the west side of Academy Drive in the 3400- 3800 blocks from R-1 (Single Family) to R-2 (Single Family); and o WHEREAS, THE City desires to correct the property legal description b v and vicinity map. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, 0 N WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Purpose. To amend Ordinance 5465 to correct the legal description and vicinity map of the property rezoned. The corrected legal description and vicinity map is set forth in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Ordinance No. 5538 April 26, 2001 Page 1 Section 2. Constitutionality or Invalidity. If any section, subsection clause or phase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional such invalidity unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of this Ordinance, as it is being hereby expressly declared that this Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase hereof would have been prepared, proposed adopted and approved and ratified irrespective of the fact that nay one or more section, subsection, sentence, clause or phase be declared invalid or unconstitutional. Section 3. Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the direction of this legislation. o Section 4. Recording.
