AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN CITY CODE
CHAPTER 10.36 ENTITLED "STOPPING, STANDING AND
PARKING," SECTION 340 ENTITLED "NO PARKING BETWEEN
7:00 A.M. AND 4:00 P.M." FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROHIBITING
PARKING IN FRONT OF WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, a review of the current parking restrictions in certain areas
of the City revealed a need to prohibit parking in front of Washington
Elementary School.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 10.36.340 of the City of Auburn Code is
amended to read as follows:
10.36.340 No parking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
It is unlawful to park any vehicle on 4th Street Northeast, south side,
beginning at a point 245 feet east of the east curbline of "E" Street Northeast
and continuing eastward 437 feet to a point 695 feet east of the east curbline of
"E" Street Northeast and on the south side of 2nd Street Northeast from the east
curbline of "E" Street Northeast to a point 345 feet east of the east curbline of
"E" Street Northeast, in the city, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.,
except Sundays and holidays.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this ordinance.

Section 3. If any portion of this Ordinance or its application to any
person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or the
application of the provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be
affected.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
