A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, REQUESTING AN AMENDMENT IN
APPROVED FORWARD THRUST ARTERIAL PROJECT IN CONNECTION WITH THE STREET
CONSTRUCTION AND STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS ON ELLINGSON ROAD, FROM
"A" STREET SOUTHEAST TO "C" STREET SOUTHWEST..
WHEREAS, King County Resolution No. 34569, passed by the Board of County
Commissioners on December 18, 1967, contained a list of approved Forward Thrust
Arterial Street Projects, including improvements for arterial street projects within
the Auburn City Limits; and,
WHEREAS, the City has determined it to be in the public interest and for
the public health, safety and welfare that the above King County Resolution be
amended to provide for street construction and street lighting improvements on
Ellingson Road from "A" Street Southeast to "C" Street Southwest, within the Auburn
City Limits; now, therefore,
THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING
DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the King County Council and the Forward Thrust Organization
be requested to amend King County Resolution No. 34569, Section 3B, to provide
for street construction and street lighting improvements on Ellingson Road from
"A" Street Southeast to "C" Street Southwest, within the Auburn Cite Limits.
Section 2. That copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the appropriate
agencies for the necessary action to amend said King County Resolution, as
requested herein.
