A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
!~IHEREIN GRANTS AND/OR CONTRACTS FROM AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND/OR AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE.
OF WASHINGTON ARE NOW, OR IN THE NEAR FUTURE WILL BE, AVAILABLE REGARDING
THE ALLEVIATION TO CONDITIONS OF UNEMPLOYMENT AND UNDEREMPLOYMENT IN THE
COUNTIES OF KING AND SNOHOMISH, OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON.
THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Mayor and the City Clerk of Auburn,Washington, be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to sign, on behalf of the City, a contract wherein
Grants and/or contracts frcm Agencies of the Government of the United States of
America and/or Agencies of the Government of the State of Washington are now,
or in the near future will be, available to the parties hereto to finance, in
whole or in part, programs and projects looking to the alleviation to conditions
of unemployment and underemployment in the Counties of King and Snohomish, of
the State of Washington. A copy of said contract is hereto attached, designated
as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though set forth herein in full.
