A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, TO SUBMIT BY-WAY OF GEORGE
MACK, SPECIAL LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, THE LATEST
AND BEST CONTRACTUAL OFFER OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, TO THE MUNI=
CIPALITY OF METROPOLITAN SEATTLE PERTAINING TO A COMPREHENSIVE SEWAGE TREAT-
MENT CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the Utility Committee of the City of Auburn, Washington, after
considerable study has unanimously recommended to the City Council that the City
of Auburn, Washington approve the signing of the latest draft of the Municipality
of Metropolitan Seattle Sewage Treatment Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is felt that at this time such submission is in the best
interests of the citizens of the City of Auburn, Washington.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN
A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:
The Mayor and City Clerk are herewith authorized and directed to submit
through the City of Auburn's special counsel, Mr. George Mack, to the Municipality
of Metropolitan Seattle, the City of Auburn's latest and best contract proposal
for a contract with said agency for comprehensive sewage treatment of the City of
Auburn's sewage effluent.
