A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT
NO. 1 OF THE INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON STATE PARKS
AND RECREATION COMMISSION FOR DEVELOPMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
OF THE AUBURN GAME FARM, ORIGINAL AGREEMENT AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION
NO. 1545, PASSED NOVEMBER 19, 1984.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING
DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:
THE Mayor of the City of Auburn, Washington, is herewith authorized to
execute Amendment No. 1 of the Interagency Agreement with the Washington State
Parks and Recreation Commission for development, operation and maintenance of
the Auburn Game Farm. Said Amendment No. 1 amends Provision 17 of the origi-
nal agreement approved by the Auburn City Council by Resolution No. 1545 on
November 19, 1984. A copy of said Amendment No. 1 is attached hereto, denomi-
nated as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though set forth in full
herein.
THE Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures
as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation.

CITY OF AUBURN - AUBURN GAME FARM
WASHINGTON STATE
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT NO. 1
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1984 the Washington State Parks and Recreation
Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, and the City of Auburn,
hereinafter referred to as the City, entered into an agreement for development,
operation and maintenance for urban recreational park purposes certain
recreational lands in the City of Auburn; and,
WHEREAS, the City has completed the public planning process and master
plan for the entire property and has begun construction of facilities north of
the White River; and,
WHEREAS, the 1987 Legislature approved funds in the amount of $500,000 to
construct a group campsite for recreation vehicles (RV's) and related
facilities south of the White River, which completes the Commission responsi-
bility for development, operation and maintenance as outlined in Provision 5
of the original agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with Provision 17 the original agreement is
amended by adding the following provisions:
19. The City and/or its agent shall design and construct a group camp-
site for RV's, youth group camping and day use area and other river
related facilities located south of the White River consistent
with a revised master plan and as approved by Commission staff.
Required permits, archaeological clearance and environmental analysis
will be the responsibility of the City. All costs to the Commission
for project implementation shall not exceed $500,000 and all future
operating and maintenance costs will be the City's responsibility.

20. Funds provided to the City by the Commission for design and develop-
ment will be remitted to the City in installments, after receipt of
billings and upon satisfactory proof of completion of each stage of
design, construction or development.
