A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, TO EXECUTE
AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON
STATE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION FOR DEVELOPMENT, OPERATION
AND MAINTENANCE OF THE AUBURN GAME FARM. (ORIGINAL AGREEMENT
AUTHORIZED BY CITY OF AUBURN RESOLUTION NO. 1545, PASSED
NOVEMBER 19, 1984.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING
DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:
THE Mayor of the City of Auburn, Washington, is herewith authorized to
execute Amendment No. 2 to the Interagency Agreement with the Washington State
Parks and Recreation Commission for development, operation and maintenance of
the Auburn Game Farm. The original agreement was authorized by City of Auburn
Resolution No. 1545, passed November 19, 1984. A copy of said Agreement is
attached hereto, denominated as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as though
set forth in full herein.
THE Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures
as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation.

WASHINGTON STATE
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT NO. 2
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1984 the Washington State Parks and Recreation
Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, and the City of Auburn,
hereinafter referred to as the City, entered into an agreement for development,
operation and maintenance for urban recreational park purposes certain
recreational lands in the City of Auburn; and,
WHEREAS, the City has completed the public planning process and master
plan for the entire property and has nearly completed construction of
facilities north of the Stuck River; and,
WHEREAS, on September 22, 1987 the agreement was amended to allow the City
and/or its agent to design and construct park facilities south of the Stuck
River consistent with a revised master plan with funds provided by the
Commission not to exceed $500,000; and,
WHEREAS, the land to be developed south of the Stuck River is divided by a
county road; and,
WHEREAS, on September 18, 1987 the Commission authorized the exchange of
land south of Stuck River Drive to consolidate State Parks' property on one
side of Stuck River Drive; and,
WHEREAS, that exchange has been completed,
NOW THEREFORE, the legal description is amended to read as follows:
Auburn Park

Government Lots 9 and 10;
EXCEPT all coal and minerals and the right to explore for and mine the
same as excluded in deed recorded under Recording No. 102353;
Government Lots 6 and 7, AND that portion of the NE 1/4 SW 1/4 lying
northerly of the existing road, S.E. Stuck River Road extension;
AND that part of the SE 1/4 lying northerly of the existing road,
S.E. Stuck River Road extension;
AND Government Lot 11;
EXCEPT the North 60 feet of Government Lot 11;
AND EXCEPT that portion of Government Lot 11 conveyed to the City of
Auburn for street purposes by deed recorded under Recording No. 5896174;
All in Section 29, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; situate in
King County, State of Washington.
