A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING A
3 CONVEYANCE OF PARK PROPERTY KNOWN AS TA-WEEL MEMORIAL PARK, BY
STATUTORY WARRANTY DEED.

5 WHEREAS, this special area of plan approval for the
6 Lakeland Hills planned community required park land dedication
7 to the City of Auburn; and
8 WHEREAS, in fulfillment of these requirements, the owner
9 proposes to convey to the City the property described as
attached; and
10
11 WHEREAS, the property will be conveyed for park or public
12 purposes to the City of Auburn;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREBY

RESOLVES THAT:

16 Section 1. The City hereby accepts the conveyance of
17 property known as TA WEEL MEMORIAL PARK, as legally described
18 in the attached Exhibit "A", incorporated by reference in this
19 Resolution and designated Special Warranty Deed with a legal
20 description attached.

1 Section 2. Beneficial Development Company shall record
2 the attached Statutory Warranty Deed along with the attached
3 legal description with the King County Auditor, Records and
4 Elections Division, upon the passage of this Resolution by the
5 City Council. Recording shall be done by Chicago Title
6 Insurance Company.
7 Section 3. In accordance with the requirements of the
g Lakeland Hills Plans, as adopted by Resolution No. 1851 passed
9 by the City Council on April 18, 1988, Section LH-2.5(1) of
10 the Plan requires that the developer of property adjacent to
11 White River Park land [known as TA Weel Park], shall provide a
12 dense vegetative screen along the boundary separating such
13 development from the park. The vegetative screen shall be
14 approved by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Director. The
15 screening improvement shall not be counted in lieu of required
16 land dedication.
17 Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
18 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
19 out the directives of this legislation.
