CONVEYANCE OF PARK PROPERTY CURRENTLY KNOWN AS THE EASTERLY

5 WHEREAS, the special area,of plan approval for the
6 Lakeland Hills planned community required park land dedication
7 to the City of Auburn; and

12 Park or public purposes subject to reservation of easements

14 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,

15 ' ASSEMBLED, HEREBY
16 RESOLVES THAT:
17 Section 1. The City hereby accepts the conveyance of
18 property currently known as TA-WEEL MEMORIAL PARK (easterly
19 portion) by Special Warranty Deed, as legally described in the
20 attached Exhibit A, incorporated by reference in this
21 Resolution and designated Special Warranty Deed. The
22 conveyance is made subject to reservation of easements in

2 favor of the grantor and easements of record. The conveyance
3 is conditioned to be used for park or public purposes only.
4 Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Auburn shall
5 record the attached Special Warranty Deeds along with the
6 attached legal description with the King County Auditor,
7 Records and Elections Division, upon passage of this
8 Resolution by the City Council.

C) 9 Section 3. In accordance with the requirements of the
Lakeland Hills Plan, as adopted by Resolution No. 1851 passed

C) il by the City Council on April 18, 1988, Section LH-2.5(1) of

~ 12 the Plan requires that the developer of property adjacent to
13 White River Park land [known as TA-WEEL MEMORIAL PARK] shall
14 provide a dense vegetative screen along the boundaries
15 separating such development from the Park. The vegetative
16 screen shall be approved by the Auburn Parks and Recreation
17 Director. The screening improvement shall not be counted in
ig lieu of required land dedication.
19 Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
20 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
21 out the directives of this legislation.
