3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
4 WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AND
UTILITY ENGINEER AS REPRESENTATIVES TO SERVE ON THE
5 METROPOLITAN WATER POLLUTION ABATEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

WHEREAS, RCW 35.58.210 provides for each metropolitan
8 municipal corporation, authorized to perform water pollution
abatement, to establish a Metropolitan Water Pollution
9
10 Abatement Advisory Committee to be composed of
11
representatives of each component city and county within
12 such metropolitan municipal corporation; and
13
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle
(Metro) has established such a Water Pollution Advisory
14
15 Committee; and
16
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has not officially
17 designated a representative to said Committee; and
18
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the
19 interest of the City of Auburn to be represented on said
20 Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee;
21
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
22 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The Director of Public Works is hereby
3 designated as the representative of the City of Auburn to
4 the Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory
5 Committee and the utility Engineer is hereby designated as
6 alternate to said Committee.

Section 2. A conformed copy of this Resolution shall
8 be forwarded to the Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement
9 Advisory Committee in care of Hanford Choate, Metro, MIS 82,
10 Seattle, Washington 98104.
11
Section 5. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
12 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
13 out the directives of this legislation.
