A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
4 WASHINGTON, DECLARING THE AUTHORIZATION TO SURPLUS REAL
PROPERTY DESIGNATED AS TRACT B OF THE PLAT OF VALLEY MEADOWS
5
ADDITION AND REAL PROPERTY DESIGNATED AS TAX PARCEL NUMBER
6 000100-0116.

WHEREAS, the City acquired an interest in said Tract B
8
9 upon recording of the plat of Valley Meadows Addition, in May
10 1992, see Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and
11
WHEREAS, the City acquired an excessive portion of tax
12 '
parcel number 000100-0068, in July 1990 for the purposes of
13
]4 constructing I Street N.E. within a 60 foot wide right of way,
15 currently designated by King County as tax parcel number
16 000100-0116, see Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and
17
WHEREAS, the excessive portion of tax parcel number
18
000100-0116 lies adjacent to the west marginal line of I
19
20 Street N.E; and
21 WHEREAS, the City will release all interests in said real
22
properties and dispose of under the direction of the City
23
Attorney's office; and

1 WHEREAS, departments within the City as well as franchise

utility companies were requested to comment on the surplus of
3
said real property, indicating favorable results.

5 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
6 WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
7 RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The City does hereby surplus real property
9
designated as Tract B, Valley Meadows Addition, according to
10
11 the plat thereof recorded in Volume 161 of Plats, pages 59-62,
12 in King County Washington, as shown on the attached Exhibit
13 "A", and the remainder of real property designated as Tax
]4
Parcel Number 000100-0116 lying west of the west marginal line
15
of I Street N.E., as shown on the attached Exhibit "B", in
17 excess of City needs.
]8 Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
19 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
20
out the directives of this legislation.
