RESOLUTION NO. 3 0 7 0
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, GRANTING A 30-FOOT SOUTHERLY PORTION OF CITY
OF AUBURN WATER UTILITY PROPERTY ADJACENT TO SOUTH 316TH
STREET TO PROVIDE RIGHT-OF-WAY THEREON FOR STREET
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, South 316th Street is only partially
complete from the Evergreen Elementary School west
property line to approximately 1,200 feet easterly; and
WHEREAS, the long range plan includes the
construction of an arterial street; and
WHEREAS, 60 feet of right-of-way will be required for
the arterial street right-of-way completion; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn Water Utility Enterprise
Fund is the owner of the property described in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and by this reference made a part
hereof, and as depicted by the sketch as shown in Exhibit
"B" attached hereto and by this reference made a part
hereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED,
HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:

Section 1. There is herewith granted for street
purposes from the Auburn Water Utility to the City of
Auburn the property legally described in Exhibit ~A".
Section 2. Upon the passage and approval of this
Resolution, the City of Auburn City Clerk is hereby
authorized to record this Resolution with King County.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be
necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.

That portion of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 1 I, Township 21
north, Range 4 East of the Willamette Meridian, King County, Washington, described as
follows:

Beginning at the southeast comer of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of said
Section 11;
Thence North 01°11'50" East, 947.00 feet to the point of curve of a curve concave to the
southeast to which the center of the arc of said curve bears South 01°11 '50" West, 47.00
feet;
Thence southwesterly along said curve 114.84 feet through a central angle of 139°59'41"
to a point of reverse curve;
Thence southeasterly along a curve concave to the southwest, said curve having a radius
of 23.00 feet and a central angle of 49°59'41'', a distance of 20.07 feet to the point of
rangehey;
Thence South 01°11 '50" West, 846.38 feet;
Thence South 88°48'10" East, 22.00 feet to the point of beginning.
