A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE
CITY OF AUBURN, TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN
THE CITY OF AUBURN AND DOMESTIC ABUSE WOMEN'S NETWORK
(DAWN) DURING THE YEAR 2000.
WHEREAS, the CITY desires to award general revenue funds to DAWN
to perform domestic violence community advocacy services and emergency
shelter pursuant to certain terms and conditions as described in this agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
RESOLVES THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn, Washington,
are authorized to execute a year 2000 Contract for Services between the City
of Auburn and Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN) to provide services
as outlined in said Contract. A copy of said Contract is attached hereto, is
designated Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference in this Resolution.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
