HomeMy WebLinkAbout3195 RESOLUTION NO. 3 19 5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF AUBURN TO AWARD NEIGHBORHOOD MATCHING GRANTS TO SELECTED APPLICANTS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn appropriated funds in its 2000 General Fund Budget for the purpose of Neighborhood Matching Grants; and WHEREAS, the City's Department of Planning and Community Development received several proposed grants from prospective applicants; and WHEREAS, these grant applications were reviewed by city staff and the City of Auburn's Human Services Committee in accordance to the management memorandum approved by the Mayor and City Council of Auburn; and WHEREAS, the Human Services Committee forwarded their recommendation for funding to the Mayor of Auburn who, in turn, concurs with them and submits them for the City Council's review and approval. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Resolution 3195 March 16, 2000 Page ] Section 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Resolution is to authorize the Mayor of the City of Auburn; Washington, to award Neighborhood Matching Grants to selected applicants. A copy of Neighborhood Matching Grants selected applicants as set forth in Exhibit "1" is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Dated and Signed this 20th day of March, 2000.
