A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO AMEND
THE YEAR 2000 AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF AUBURN AND THE
SENIOR SERVICES VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTATION, REMOVING THE
PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY COVERAGE IN THE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, THE SENIOR SERVICES VOLUNTEER
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM has provisions which provide comprehensive
general liability insurance as required; and
WHEREAS, THE SENIOR SERVICES VOLUNTEER
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM does not use professional drivers the
professional liability coverage has been removed from the Agreement
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A
REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn are herewith
authorized to enter into an Agreement between the City of Auburn and THE
SENIOR SERVICES VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM, a local
non-profit charitable organization, to provide transportation isolated, frail and
low income City of Auburn seniors for the year 2000. A copy of said Agreement
is attached hereto and denominated Exhibit "A".

Section :2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
