A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
ALLOW ONE WEEK-END TWO- DAY MOTORCYCLE RACE EVENT FOR
THE NEXT TWO YEARS (2000 AND 2001) AT THE EMERALD DOWNS
TRACK.
WHEREAS, for one weekend a two-day motorcycle race event following
the end of the thoroughbred racing season has been allowed; and
WHEREAS, the motorcycle race event is limited to a one weekend two-
day motorcycle event is allowed each year for 2000 and 2001; and
WHEREAS, the motorcycles must be equipped with muffler devices and
each of the events must end no later than 10:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED,
HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are herewith authorized to allow a
one-weekend two-day weekend motorcycle event is allowed each year for the
next two years. The motorcycles must be equipped with the muffler devices
and each of the two-day events must end not later than 10:00 p.m.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such

administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
