A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 3290 ADOPTED NOVEMBER 20, 2000
AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING OF INMATES IN THE
YAKIMA COUNTY JAIL TO INCORPORATE ADJUSTMENTS IN THE
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Auburn City Council held
November 20, 2000 the Council adopted Resolution No. 3290 approving the
execution of an agreement for housing of inmates in the Yakima County Jail
between the City of Auburn and Yakima County, Washington; and
WHEREAS, it is of interest to the City of Auburn to amend the
agreement between the City of Auburn and Yakima County Jail to allow for a
reduction in cost and clarification in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn are hereby
authorized to execute an amendment to the agreement for the housing of
inmates in the Yakima County Jail which is attached hereto and marked as
Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated herein.

Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
