A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, NOMINATING THE ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER-UTILITIES
AS DIRECTOR, THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AS FIRST ALTERNATE,
AND THE WATER UTILITY ENGINEER AS SECOND ALTERNATE TO
REPRESENT AUBURN'S CONCERNS AND ISSUES AT THE REGULAR
MONTHLY AND ANNUAL MEETINGS OF THE REGIONAL WATER
ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH KING COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the revised bylaws of the Regional Water Association of
South King County entitle governmental bodies providing water service in
South King County to regular membership in the Association; and
WHEREAS, the revised bylaws state that each regular member shall be
entitled to nominate one Director and two Alternate Directors for approval and
election by membership; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the interest of the City of
Auburn to be represented on said Regional Water Association of South King
County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to nominate the Assistant City
Engineer-Utilities as Director, the Public Works Director as First Alternate, and
the Water Utility Engineer as Second Alternate.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Auburn Assistant City Engineer-Utilities is hereby
designated as the Director, the Public Works Director is hereby designated as
the First Alternate, and the Water Utility Engineer is hereby designated as .the
Second Alternate to said Association.
Section 2. A conformed copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to
the Regional Water Association of South King County in care of Don Wright,
Administrator, 27224 144th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98042.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
