HomeMy WebLinkAbout3459 RESOLUTION NO.3 4 5 9 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO DONATE EQUIPMENT DECLARED AS SURPLUS AND WHICH IS NO LONGER OF USE TO THE CITY OF AUBURN PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND WHICH CAN BE USED BY THE KING COUNTY UMPIRES ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS, the King County Umpires Association is in need of umpire equipment, which is no longer needed by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department and has requested the City of Auburn donate umpire equipment to be used by the umpires who officiate in Auburn Parks and Recreation Department sponsored leagues; and WHEREAS, the umpire equipment, which the City would normally surplus when no longer used by the City, can be utilized by the King County Umpires Association, a Washington State non-profit corporation. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT: Section 1. The equipment identified on the list attached heretoattached as Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated herein by this reference is declared to be surplus and the Mayor is hereby authorized to donate said equipment, to the King County Umpires Association, a Washington State non-profit corporation as Resolution No. 3459 April 9, 2002 Page 1 012 stated in the Certificate of Incorporation, herein attached and denominated Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein; Section 2.
