A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE NON-COMMISSIONED
POLICE UNIT, INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MACHINISTS
AND AEROSPACE WORKERS DISTRICT LODGE NO 160, FOR 2002-
2004.
WHEREAS, this Agreement is between the City of Auburn and the Non
Commissioned Police Unit for the purposes of setting forth the mutual
understanding of the parties to conditions of employment for those employees
for whom the City recognizes the Non-Commissioned Police Unit as the
collective bargaining representative; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn recognizes the Non-Commissioned
Police Unit as the exclusive bargaining representative of all employees
designated as Non-Commissioned Police Unit, including Parking Control
Attendant, Police Services Specialists, Evidence/Identification Tech, Police
Services Supervisor, Correctional Officers and Correctional Supervisor.
WHEREAS, after review and approval of the Collective Bargaining
Agreement by the City of Auburn and Non-Commissioned Police Unit;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

.Section I. Purpose. The City Council hereby authorizes the execution
of the Collective Bargaining Agreement by and between the City of Auburn and
the Non-Commissioned Police Unit for 2002 - 2004 as set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this legislation.
