RESOLUTION NO.3 4 6 8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF
CERTAIN CITY OF AUBURN FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT
THAT HAS BEEN DECLARED SURPLUS TO FIRE DISTRICT NO.
5 IN NAPAVINE, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, Fire District No. 5 in Napavine, Washington is in need of
certain fire equipment, to-wit: sections of hose and hose fittings that have been
surplused and are no longer needed by the City of Auburn Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 39.33 RCW the City of Auburn desires to
donate the surplused hose sections and hose fittings that can be utilized by Fire
District NO.5 in Napavine, Washington; and
WHEREAS, 115 sections of 50 foot fire hose was declared surplus by the
City of Auburn City Council at its April 1 , 2002 council meeting; and
WHEREAS, hose fitting were declared surplus by the City of Auburn City
Council earlier at this May 20, 2002 council meeting;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
RESOLVES THAT:
Section 1. Authorization to donate City of Auburn fire equipment
consisting of 115 sections of 50 foot hose and hose fittings, as identified on the
list attached hereto and denominated as Exhibit "A" which is by this reference

incorporated herein, to Fire District No. 5 in Napavine, Washington is hereby
approved.
Section 2. This resolution shall be effective upon passage and
signature herein.
