A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE COURTHOUSE
CLERICAL AND CUSTODIAN BARGAINING UNIT FOR 2002-2004.
WHEREAS, this Agreement is between the City of Auburn and the
Courthouse Clerical and Custodian Bargaining Unit for the purposes of setting
forth the mutual understanding of the parties to conditions of employment for
those employees for whom the City recognizes the Courthouse and Custodian
Bargaining Unit as the collective bargaining representative; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn recognizes the Courthouse Clerical and
Custodian Bargaining Unit as the exclusive bargaining representative of all
employees designated as Courthouse Clerical and Custodian Bargaining Unit;
and
WHEREAS, after review and approval of the Collective Bargaining
Agreement by the City of Auburn and Courthouse and Custodian Bargaining
Unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Purpose. The City Council hereby authorizes the execution
of the Collective Bargaining Agreement by and between the City of Auburn and

the Courthouse Clerical and Custodian Bargaining Unit for 2002 - 2004 as set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
Section 2, The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this legislation.
Section 3. This resolution shall be effective on the date of its passage
and signature.
