A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF
THE PHRASE "AUBURN MORE THAN YOU IMAGINED" AS THE
OFFICIAL CITY TAGLINE
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn desires to adopt a tagline, or slogan, that
conveys a positive and progressive City image and identity; and
WHEREAS, a stakeholder group represented by the school district, small
and large businesses, residents, City staff, the Auburn Arts Commission, the
Auburn Downtown Association and the Chamber of Commerce has been
involved in the creative process and the review process of the tagline
development; and
WHEREAS, the stakeholder group has unanimously agreed to
recommend "Auburn More Than You Imagined" to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. Approval of City taflline. The City Council hereby
authorizes "Auburn More Than You Imagined" to serve as the City of Auburn
tagline.
Section 2. Effective Date. That this Resolution shall take effect and
be in full force upon passage and signatures hereon.
