A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, TO JOIN THE REGIONAL
DISASTER PLAN FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
ORGANIZATIONS IN KING COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Regional Policy Committee of King County, passed a
motion that initiated development of a Regional Disaster Plan for King County;
and
WHEREAS, the Regional Disaster Plan for Public and Private
Organizations in King County provides the emergency response plans of a wide
range of organizations; and
WHEREAS, for the purposes set forth in the King County Regional
Disaster Plan, it is in the public interest for the citizens of the City of Auburn to
join the King County Regional Disaster Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
RESOLVES THAT:
Section 1. Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the City of
Auburns participation in the Regional Disaster Plan of King County.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Auburn is herewith authorized to
execute the participation document for the Regional Disaster Plan for Public

and Private Organizations in King County, denominated as Exhibit "A" and
made a part hereof as though set forth in full herein.
Section3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
Section 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect upon
passage and signatures hereon.
